Jin Hee Choi, MPH, DMD
Dr. Choi was born in South Korea where she received her Bachelor in English Literature and a Master's in Public Health. She published a book on healthcare systems before moving to the USA. She completed dental school at Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine, and fell in love with Cleveland, where she has lived ever since!
Dr. Choi has since been heavily involved in the dental world, providing dental care on mission trips and to local communities. Her dental interests include clear aligner braces, esthetic and cosmetic dentistry including veneers and botox, and smile rehabilitation.
In her free time, Dr. Choi can be found spending time with her two children and her husband, playing golf, and travelling.
Andleeb Qureshi, DMD
Dr. Q was born in England and moved to the USA as a child. She has since lived in several states across the country, most recently Michigan where she received her Bachelor's in English, followed by Massachusetts where she received a Master's in English Literature. This shared love of literature is what first began her friendship with Dr. Choi! Dr. Q also attended Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine where she got her DMD, and completed a GPR residency at St. Vincent Charity.
Since graduating, Dr. Q has trained in oral surgery procedures, including bone grafting, PRF, and implant procedures. She has worked hard to learn how to make the dental experience a comfortable one for patients with dental anxiety and provides treatment under nitrous oxide.
When not at work, Dr. Q can be found cuddling with her two cats, crafting and sewing, or visiting Disney World.
Whitney Beal, Office Manager
Whitney was born and raised in Highland, Utah. Whitney went to esthetics school in Utah, and she has a Master's Esthetician license. She has lived in Las Vegas where she worked as a regional manager, overseeing several locations for a West Coast company. She then moved to Ohio where she found Gentle Dental, and she has been here ever since!
When not at work, Whitney can be found with a Diet Coke in hand, enjoying time with her family and friends. Whitney has one son and a cat, and both are very adorable!
Monae, Front Desk
Monae was born and raised in Ohio. Monae received her emergency response certificate and worked in an emergency room for a time. Monae started working as an administrative assistant for the City of Cleveland for 4 years. She then began working front desk in the dental field and she has loved it!
When not working, Monae loves basketball, shopping, and traveling with her children. Monae has a 2-yr old and a 3-yr old, and they keep her very busy!
Yvonne, Hygienist
Yvonne was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Her love for dentistry stemmed from her parents and the family's regular dental visits. Her interest in science and health also enhanced her love for dentistry. Her dental career began upon graduation from Health Careers high school with a dental assistant certification. She continued her education by getting a degree in dental hygiene from Cuyahoga Community College in 2005. Shortly after, she attained an EFDA certification/licensure from Case Western University in 2008 in preventative and restorative placement.
When not working, Yvonne loves to do research and continual education on periodontal health, or volunteering in Bible educational work. You can also find her supporting Cleveland sports teams, attending music concerts or theatre events at Playhouse Square.
Carol, EFDA
Carol is our Expanded Function Dental Auxilliary!
Carol has been in dentistry for over 40 years. She began her dental career attending Jane Adams School of Dental Assisting where she became a Certified dental assistant in 1982 and also received her license in Dental Radiology.
Carol continued her education at Case Western Reserve University and completed her education requirements to become an EFDA/AQP and received her license in 1988 after passing the state boards at Ohio State University enabling her to perform many esthetic procedures within the dental field.
Carol enjoys gardening, drawing, and needle-point. She loves spending quality time with her husband of 40 years and her only son Jack.
